In general, please submit any order changes by Mon 12 pm Eastern before a Thurs delivery to expedite your request!

I just joined, when will my seafood arrive?

Welcome aboard! We want you to receive your order soon, on the next possible delivery date. Check the calendar for Home Deliveries to see when you can expect your first shipment to arrive. If you prefer your 1st shipment to arrive before these dates, simply email to request this; we can generally send it out in the next week. 

HOLIDAYS: If there is a Monday holiday and the market is closed, then we will reach out to you to move your delivery date to Friday. 

  • Monthly Subscriptions: These orders arrive on the 1st Thursday or 3rd Thursday of the month. The cut-off date for subscription sign-ups is by 12 pm Eastern on the Monday before the Thursday delivery.  
  • Biweekly Subscriptions: Same as for Monthly Subscriptions, but your shipments will arrive every other Thursday of each month. See the Home Delivery calendar for exact dates.
  • Weekly Subscriptions: These will arrive every Thursday.

What info will I get the week of a delivery?

After your seafood ships,  you'll receive an email that includes the fish and shellfish of the week that are included in your box (if you have a box that we curated), along with the FedEx tracking number and suggested recipes. 

I'm going on vacation. Can I pause my subscription? 

Of course! You can log in to Your Account and hit Skip Renewal, if you want to skip your next shipment. If you are traveling for a longer period and want to skip multiple shipments, please email your travel dates to  customerservice@thefishdrop.com and we'll take care of your request. 

How do I add on something for my next delivery?

If you'd like to mix things up, or know you'll need extra seafood, please check out our One-Time Add-Ons, and your item will be added to your next shipment. You will only be billed for this item once. If you'd like it again in the future, simply return to the add-ons page and order it again.  The cut-off date for add-on items is by 12 pm Eastern on the Monday before the Thursday delivery.   

I've been eating the same fish for a while. Can I change my seafood selection?

  1. Log in to Your Account.
  2. Under Update Your Information (left sidebar), click the Edit button.
  3. Scroll down to the Seafood Selection section, and choose another delicious option. Scroll down to the bottom and click Change to confirm your new selection.

I'd like to cancel my subscription.

Is there anything we can do to make it up to you? Please reach out to us! However, if you do prefer to cancel, we're sorry to see you go.

  1. Log in to Your Account.
  2. Under Update Your Information (left sidebar), click the Edit button.
  3. In the bottom-left corner, click Cancel Subscription. If you ever change your mind, just let us know and we can reactivate for you!

Remember, you're the captain of your own subscription and can update it any time!
